We went to MN over the Thanksgiving holiday because of the death of Grandma Fandel. We flew out and enjoyed time with the family and paid out respects to Grandma. It was a humbling and learning experience for both my children and ourselves.
I have a new found respect for my mother in law who I was with during Grandmas last hours. The whole family was there but had a hard time coping so I sat with Mary right by Grandma until she passed. I love the selfless act of service that was shown for Grandma. It is what Christ shows us every day.
After the funeral we went to the Mall of America and walked around. Before we went back to the hotel we let the kids ride the Log Chute ride. As you can tell, they thoroughly enjoyed it!
